Claire is desperately trying to talk this week. She is saying new words, including:
Cracker: "Caacaa," Outside: "Sigh," and Baptize: "Baapaa" (which she now recognizes in her Bible story book).
Claire can now tell you what she has done during the day. It just takes patient ears and the ability to understand her made up sign language and gestures. Today's story after going to the park with Daddy went like this:
Big brown eyes twinkling, excitement in her voice "Nack, brrrm brrrm, Dada" Interpretation: I ate my snack in my car with Daddy. Then she motioned slide and said "weeeee" followed by swaying her little body back and forth like a swing. Then Claire said "daa, daa" meaning she saw a dog at the park. I totally understood everything she told me and you could clearly see she was quite proud of herself for communicating it to me! Yaaay Claire!
