A little update

It has actually been so cold here that we don't get to play outside anymore. We have been finding indoor entertainment but managed one chilly trip to the park recently. Claire asks everyday to go swing, so today we are going to try an indoor park!! I will try to take some pictures for you.

Our Friday afternoon entertainment was a trip to the mall with Daddy. Shane and I both HATE the mall but it was sooo cold outside!!! Claire had a great time and loved the carousel, as always! She picked a bunny to ride.

Claire is starting to say more words. Here she is hugging Dressy Bessy, which she calls "Dre Beh"

She still loves Lexi and calls her "Lesh" or "kit cat." She blows her kisses everytime she sees her and even takes toys to her when she is trying to nap on her blanket. Notice her Baby Lexi in the middle of the hug.

Claire has discovered Elmo! He is on her diapers and she loves him! She calls him "Ababa" for some strange reason. Some more words are:

Bath: "Bah"

Dog: "Duh"

Cheese: "Eese" (Claire's favorite food. We hear a lot of "eese" followed by the sign for please)

Snack: "Nack" (we also hear a lot of this. She likes snacks like her Mommy)

Berries: "Buh"

Car: "Broom Broom"

Claire has also discovered climbing. She can climb up onto some of the furniture and is very proud of herself. After a trip to the store Claire picked up a very big box of diapers and used it as a step stool to get in Daddy's chair. She then used it to get onto the coffee table. I managed to get one picture with my phone before she got in trouble. She only tried that stunt once.

I also caught her in our bathroom drawer where I keep my makeup. She helped herself to my eyelash curler and knew exactly what to do with it!
