Shane's only request for his first Father's Day was to take Claire to the park to feed the ducks. As soon as Claire had breakfast they headed out on their early morning date. She had so much fun as usual and almost grabbed a duck's head as it was waiting patiently for bread. I have learned that Claire eats as much wheat bread as the ducks on their little outing. Claire was really into the ducks this visit until a lab arrived and was retrieving a dummy from the lake. She forgot about the ducks and wanted that puppy!
Claire has been quite clingy these past couple of days as her third tooth is making its way down. I am getting a lot of hugs and kisses from her. She wants me to hold her so she can point to things and talk about it. She is learning the names of furniture and appliances and can point to the lights, chairs and tables if you ask her to.
She is also refusing to eat anything by spoon. She has discovered how fun it is to eat finger foods from her new bowls. Little Shane has a list of foods she will eat, but unlike her daddy, meat is not one of them. My little girl used to LOVE her veggies and now she is not so excited about them anymore. She would prefer to eat only fruit.
What's wrong with eating blueberries and bananas for lunch?
