Claire now has TWO teeth! Number 2 popped up on Thursday.

I finally bought Claire a Fresh Food Feeder and this was the first time she used it. I put a frozen strawberry (for those inflamed gums) and a fresh blueberry in it. You can tell when the blueberry bursts!
Claire is learning to eat finger foods. Claire loves her Gerber Puffs and will crunch them with her gums. When she sees the container she gets so excited and kicks her legs. She also loves to share a banana with me. She thinks that is pretty neat.
Claire is really enjoying her mobility and has mastered getting down once she is in a standing position. She can even reach down to pick up something from the ground and not fall over. She will also let go of whatever she has pulled herself up onto, but ends up back on the ground. That skill will definitely take some more practice!
Claire is quite an explorer. She knows to look under things, like furniture, for her toys and for the kitty. She will lay her head on the ground to get a better view, and will even lift the bedskirt if the kitty is under the bed. She has also realized that just because you hide something behind you, it is not gone. She will crawl around you to get to it. Gone are the days of hiding my cell phone behind my back!
