Claire was born during Hurricane Gustav and survived Hurricane Ike at the age of 13 days. We attempted to evacuate to Dallas before the hurricane hit and ended up back at home to weather the storm. The damage to our house and fences are all repairable. Even the water damage inside the house is drying out according to our neighbor! We are ready to get back home and start the clean up process.
The is where a tree fell on our roof. There is a twig stuck through the shingles and we think that is where the leak is coming from.
This is how Claire handled the trees falling around our house during the hurricane.
