The Waiting Game

Today's OB visit was deemed "perfect" by my kind Dr.  I have dilated 2 cm and effaced 75%.  Claire has moved down (I am just too short to reap the benefits) and her head is where it should be at this point!  We just need some contractions!!  My Dr. stripped the membranes today to encourage contractions, so the waiting game continues.  She could join us any day now or be very, very stubborn.  We will remain patient but will draw the line 2 weeks from today (as long as everything remains "perfect").  At this point, no induction talk until Sept 8th.  Claire remains a "medium-sized" baby so hopefully she will arrive before she has a size upgrade!  Next office visit is after the holiday but we hope that won't be necessary!
